Everything in tune.

Install SoundBuddy, open it from Applications, then activate your purchase.

1. Install in Applications

  1. Drag SoundBuddy onto the Applications folder in this disk image.
  2. Open SoundBuddy from Applications. Once it opens, you can eject the disk image.

2. Open SoundBuddy

This edition is signed with Developer ID and notarised by Apple. Confirm the normal macOS download prompt when opening it from Applications. No Apple Developer account is needed to install it.

If macOS reports malware, damage or an unverifiable developer, stop and contact support. Do not disable Gatekeeper or remove quarantine. Independent clean-Mac installation remains unverified.

3. Activate your purchase

  1. Copy or download your activation key from your personalised welcome page after checkout. A backup is in your Dodo Payments license email.
  2. Paste it into SoundBuddy’s license field and choose Activate this Mac. You need an internet connection.
  3. A verified license unlocks the paid edition. One license activates one Mac at a time. Use Deactivate this Mac before moving to another Mac.

The paid edition checks online at launch and periodically while running. If a check fails, reconnect and choose Check license; your saved activation stays in Keychain.

Updating to 0.4.1 build 25

Quit SoundBuddy, open SoundBuddy-0.4.1-build-25-notarized-arm64.dmg, and replace SoundBuddy in Applications. Keep using your existing licence. Includes two original animated illustrations shared across earbuds and headphones. Device names do not guarantee battery, ANC or sensor support.

Microphone selection

Choose the Mac or connected headset microphone in Audio settings. Device names are labels, not the matching criteria. If automatic identification is unavailable, use All microphones to select an available input directly. Some calling apps keep their own microphone setting.

Listen Together and volume

Open Audio settings and select at least two connected stereo outputs with matching sample rates. Use each supported device’s slider for independent volume. Sync others copies that device’s volume percentage once to the other selected writable outputs and can raise their volume. Equal percentages do not guarantee equal loudness. Physical headphone Sync testing remains pending; larger device groups depend on macOS and hardware.

Need your download or license again?

Use the receipt and license emails from Dodo Payments. For the current installer, use Buyer downloads with your purchase email and licence key. Your receipt’s customer portal retains the installer issued with your order. Keep your license private.
