Sound-pack licences

Fifteen original Clicky packs

Blue Click, Brown Tactile, Clicky, Creamy, Glass, Keychron K Pro Blue, Keychron K Pro Brown, Keychron K Pro Red, Keychron Q1, Keychron V, Marble, Muted, Red Linear, Thock and Typewriter are original synthesized Clicky audio. Their manifests designate CC0 1.0. They describe acoustic styles, not recordings of physical switches.

The original synthesis source is in Clicky’s source branch. Pack manifests retain attribution and the CC0 designation.

Four recorded kbsim packs

Holy Panda, NovelKeys Cream, Kailh Box Navy and Topre use Thomas Lai’s kbsim audio, distributed under the MIT licence. SoundBuddy converts the recordings to mono 48 kHz PCM, trims codec padding, balances levels and applies endpoint fades. Each bundled pack retains its copyright and permission notice.

Two SoundBuddy synthesized packs

Revolver Pop and Talking Drum are original SoundBuddy synthesis, designated CC0 1.0. They include no third-party recording, film score, dialogue or melody.

The following texts reproduce the six pack licence files. The fifteen Clicky packs instead carry their licence and attribution in pack manifests. Local reference recordings used during development are excluded from this distribution.
