Your purchase

SoundBuddy is a one-time digital-software purchase, sold through Dodo Payments as Merchant of Record. The checkout shows the total, currency, tax and any eligible discount before payment. Dodo’s buyer terms also apply to the transaction. Our seven-day full-refund policy forms part of these terms.

The installer and licence are supplied after successful payment, with email delivery and a download recovery page. Contact support if delivery fails. Keep your purchase email and licence key private.

One Mac at a time

Your purchase grants you permission to use SoundBuddy on one Mac at a time. Deactivate your existing Mac in the app before moving the key to another. Do not share or resell a key, redistribute the paid app, or bypass activation. A refunded or revoked licence no longer grants access. Separately licensed third-party components retain their own licence terms; see the sound-pack notices.

Requirements and current limits

The current direct-download edition requires Apple silicon, macOS 14 or later and internet access at launch and for periodic licence checks. It is Developer ID signed and notarized. Clean-Mac installation and Intel support remain unverified. Input Monitoring is optional and needed for global keyboard sounds.

Device controls and battery readings depend on macOS and your hardware. Call apps can select their own microphone; active-call switching is not fully verified. Website simulations and sample devices do not access your Mac or establish hardware compatibility. Read the installation guide before buying.

Availability, updates and support

The purchase covers the version offered at checkout. It does not promise a particular future feature, update schedule or uninterrupted availability of third-party services. Licence checks depend on Dodo and connectivity. Contact support if a check or installation fails; do not disable macOS security protections.

Privacy and your rights

Our privacy policy explains app processing, online licence checks, website analytics and purchase information. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer protections or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future use and purchases, with the effective date shown above. Changes do not remove the refund promise or mandatory rights attached to an existing purchase.
